One of the main staples of the Battlefield franchise is the class system, and although the series has gone through several reworks, it’s the upcoming next entry that will change things up much more. Classes are still here, but Specialist characters are as well now, and EA has just released some more gameplay showing off their abilities and personal details.
Battlefield 2042 is launching on October 22nd, and will come with 10 different specialist characters to play as. So far only a few have been revealed, with 5 more still to be revealed at a later date. However, we have a quick preview of the first 5 characters you can play as in BF2042:
In addition to the first 10 so far revealed, a new Specialist will be added post-launch every season. And according to rumors, hopefully it won’t be long before we can get our own hands on the new Specialists as the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta is reportedly starting on September 22nd.
