Deadly Class by Rick Remender and Wes Craig will soon enter its final arc
Deadly Class, a comic written by Rick Remender and drawn by Wes Craig, is one of the most popular titles among current Image Comics publications. After a period of pause that the two authors have taken from its processing, the series resumed at the beginning of 2021 with a new narrative arc and it was recently announced that the comic is moving towards its conclusion.
Deadly Class is published in Italy by Panini Comics in the 100% Panini HD series, a series that you should absolutely recover. All the volumes published so far are available on Amazon.
Craig thus recounted the conclusion of Deadly Class in his newsletter.
In the last story arc we took a leap forward in time, discovering where our kids ended up in a rather strange 21st century, and that will continue in this story arc as well. Other than that I don't want to spoil you any more because we have a lot of shit planned and I don't want to spoil the surprise, things that will break your heart, that will make you sing and dance in the street, kissing passers-by. It will be sad to finish the series but we have been planning this path for a very long time. Some things went in the right direction, personal and work issues, this world pandemic, but now we are back and ready to tell you everything and give you the ending that the series deserves and satisfy all those who have supported us in these years (perhaps making you want to want more, which I think every writer wants. Who knows if we'll make it).
Deadly Class tells of the violent youth of Marcus Lopez and his companions, all students of King's Dominion, a school where young assassins are trained. Marcus finds himself attending the institute after the death of his parents, which took place in absurd circumstances but linked to the decisions made by Ronald Regan: Marcus's goal will become precisely to kill the President of the United States. His path is intertwined with those of other young people of the King's Dominion with whom the boy will forge bonds of love and friendship, including drugs, sex and punk music.
A television series was also taken from the Deadly Class comic , aired only in America on Syfy, unfortunately interrupted after the first season.
