Call of Duty Vanguard: Leak confirms the new first person shooter
Call of Duty Vanguard
What was previously only a rumor should now be certain: Call of Duty Vanguard is the next episode of the well-known shooter series. Corresponding evidence of this was recently found by several dataminers in the files for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. There they came across several very clear cover graphics, among other things. One of them not only shows the Call of Duty Vanguard lettering, but also two characters that simultaneously represent the much speculated scenario in World War II should confirm. In the foreground, a soldier dressed in a coat runs, apparently charging forward. A woman can be seen slightly offset, holding a sniper rifle at the ready. You can also see some airplanes in the sky as well as a lot of fire and explosions.

Beta- Call of Duty Vanguard test
The last item on the list also shows that Activision Blizzard and Sledgehammer Games are apparently planning an open beta for Call of Duty Vanguard, for which no further details are known so far. According to the Dataminer reports, buyers of the special editions will in any case receive earlier access to this test phase. The findings of the Dataminer speak a relatively clear language.Source: Imgur
Call of Duty: Vanguard seemingly leaked in Black Ops Cold War datamine
Artwork purportedly from Call of Duty: Vanguard appears to have been uncovered by dataminers in files for the next Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update.
As reported by Charlie Intel (and spotted by Video Games Chronicle), the images appear to showcase official artwork for the game. They also indicate there’ll be three editions, including a Standard Edition, a Cross-Gen bundle and an Ultimate Edition. Additional artwork posted to Twitter appears to show bonus content for these editions including an Early Access Open Beta.
Activision Blizzard are currently in the process of issuing copyright claims and takedown requests on the images, as you’d expect. However, the name Call of Duty: Vanguard was previously reported as the next entry in the long-running series back in March. Those reports first revealed the game’s World War II setting, which the images also seem to confirm.
Back in May, Sledgehammer Games confirmed it was leading development on the next Call of Duty title. It said it was “excited to be leading the charge on Call of Duty this year and can’t wait to share more”. While no formal announcement or confirmation has been made yet, it seems like one may be imminent. Once we hear any official word on Call of Duty: Vanguard, we’ll let you know.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War‘s newest update—Season 5—is set to go live later today and will include a new Among Us inspired Double Agent multiplayer mode.
