Scott Snyder announces 8 miniseries for Comixology / Dark Horse
After the closure of Batman Death Metal and the final spin-off of American Vampire, the American screenwriter Scott Snyder declared that he wanted to devote himself only to secondary series for DC Comics, presumably to be able to concentrate on his own personal projects. Subsequently, the author inaugurated his own comic book label under Image Comics, the Best Jacket Press, inaugurated by the Nocterra series.
With the Best Jacket Press, Scott Snyder announced that he has closed a contract with Comixology, the Amazon platform for the purchase of digital comics, to publish 8 miniseries starting next October.
On Amazon, you can find all Scott Snyder's comics, such as Panini Comics' Batman Metal omnibus, Batman's New 52 series with Greg Capullo and Undiscovered Country, designed by our Giuseppe Camuncoli and published in Italia at Saldapress.
Designing Snyder's various projects will be as many leading artists in the world of American comics, some of whom have already worked with Snyder. Specifically, it will be Rafael Albuquerque, Greg Capullo, Francesco Francavilla, Jamal Igle, Jock, Tula Lotay, Francis Manapul, and Dan Panosian.

“This historic and multiple agreement with ComiXology Originals has allowed us to create this incredible group of and together we will challenge ourselves to push ourselves beyond our limits and discover new ways of doing comics. This agreement will allow me to discover new ways to tell that I have wanted to try for a long time, together with my need to try something outside my canons ”.
As mentioned, the series will begin to be published starting from October, first digitally on ComiXology and subsequently, thanks to an agreement with Dark Horse Books, also physically. To publicize the launch, the covers of all the series were presented, along with some preview pages.

DUCK AND COVER (drawings by Rafael Albuquerqu): an adolescent adventure in s alsa manga, set in a post apocalyptic America of 1955;
DUDLEY DATSON AND THE FOREVER MACHINE (drawings by Jamal Igle and Juan Castro, colors by Chris Sotomayor): The young Dudley Datson comes into possession of a contraption capable of bending time and space. But when he finds himself catapulted into the midst of the dinosaurs, will he be able to find a way to go home ?;
NIGHT OF THE GHOUL (drawings and colors by Francesco Francavilla): A horror plot between the our present and the story of a lost horror film;
WE HAVE DEMONS (drawings by Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion, colors by Dave McCaig): When a young teenager discovers society dungeons, monsters and chaos, the struggle between good and evil is about to break out.
