The summer has inevitably thinned out the releases on PlayStation Store, which however this week can count on the launch of some rather interesting titles, starting with the PS5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence. Free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in July, the game harnesses the power of the new Sony console to further enhance the experience developed by Asobo Studio.

There are also two major expansions, namely Watch Dogs : Legion - Bloodline and Fallout 76: Kingdom of Steel: the first sees the return of Aiden Pearce and Wrench, characters from previous episodes of the series, while the second introduces more content for the post-apocalyptic action RPG produced by Bethesda .

A Plague Tale: Innocence

Characterized by an exceptional artistic direction, able to show us a series of evocative moving pictures and to tell a truly touching and exciting, the title of Asobo Studio does not offer particularly sophisticated mechanics, limiting itself to stealth-style gameplay with small environmental puzzles to solve and some fighting.

At the command of Amicia, our task will be to escape from the merciless troops of the Holy Inquisition crossing villages and forests, evading the control of the guards who guard the various areas and even exploiting the terrifying hordes of rats that have brought the black plague to create a barrier between us and our pursuers.

The transition to PlayStation 5, however, emphasizes the visual rendering of the game in an important way, bringing the resolution to 1440p and doubling the frame rate, which reaches 60 fps, making the experience substantially more enjoyable. Finally, the uploads are very fast, which exploit the performance of the Sony console's SSD well.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline

The unusual couple will find themselves having to work together against the backdrop of a London increasingly under corporate control, trying to block the plans of a multinational that deals with military robotics and that would like to monopolize the security management of the City to the detriment of its citizens. Without allies, armed only with experience and determination, can the two characters complete this difficult mission?

Fallout 76: Kingdom of Steel

Fallout 76: Kingdom of Steel, one of the well-equipped characters.
