Mexico: A breathtaking game world

For many, the most exciting element of a new Forza Horizon is of course the game world. And my goodness, that's something to see in Forza Horizon 5! With the fifth offshoot of the Racing series, developer Playground Games takes us into the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Central American country Mexico.

A festival full of variety: With Mexico, Playground Games has chosen the perfect location for the upcoming Horizon Festival. Similar to the fourth part, there are some height differences through the many mountains, but Mexico also shines with a multitude of biomes - great! Source: Playground Games I Xbox Impressive volcanoes, snow-capped mountains, jungle areas and deserts with sandstorms: Mexico sounds like the perfect choice for the series and embodies the most ambitious and largest open world that Playground Games has ever created. Many fans have wanted Japan based on alleged rumors in the past. However, we think Mexico embodies the perfect playground for the series and is a great and versatile choice for the new setting.

The feature, which celebrated its premiere in the fourth part, this time should have a different influence. How exactly this will turn out remains to be seen in the next few weeks. In addition, special areas should be accessible depending on the season. Anyone who thunders through the many jungles and rainforests should have no problem with heavy rain. Festival joy: mini-games, events and expeditions

Forza Horizon 5 naturally relies on the tried and tested festival again. A promise of gaming fun for a long time.

It is our task to gradually explore the game world and to open up new locations for the Horizon Festival. In the gameplay presentation on the part of Xbox there were great scenes in the lush Mexican rainforest to marvel at. We'd like to say more of it.

The skill progression system from Forza Horizon 4 is retained. This means that in Forza Horizon 5, too, we collect skill points through special maneuvers and risky actions with which we can unlock perks. On the other hand, the multiplayer assistant has been revised and improved with a new AI. When we meet other drivers, we are automatically given suggestions for activities and races based on our player profile. Thus, the boundaries between single player gameplay and multiplayer events should be blurred even more and the experience should be smoother.

Multiplayer & Customization

Other multiplayer additions are Horizon Open, Horizon Tour and Horizon Arcade. The first mode is a variety of traditional online multiplayer games with a competitive orientation. Horizon Tour, on the other hand, focuses on street meetings and exploration. In Horizon Arcade we can let off steam in various mini-games. There was a glimpse of piñatas being smashed in the trailer. We are curious to see what funny ideas Playground Games still has in store. All these features should make Forza Horizon 5 the most social experience of the series.
