Cyberpunk 2077, part of the community disappointed by patch 1.23
Part of the Cyberpunk 2077 community is expressing some discontent with the patch 1.23 just released by CD Projekt Red. The reason? This is yet another update that fixes bugs, without adding anything to the game. Many are starting to wonder where the promised free DLCs are, given that more than six months have passed since launch. Others complain that there are still a lot of features missing, which at this rate will come in years or never will. For example Dread_Sovereign writes on the official game forum: "Six months of bugfixes and nothing substantial. [.. .] My dream of playing something at least close to the original vision of the game ... has vanished. "
The same tones are present in many messages on the official Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, all of whom are sorry for the game. yet another patch that adds nothing but only fixes problems. The YouTube channel Open World Games has collected them in video in a virtuous way:
In fact, the arrangement of Cyberpunk 2077 is taking a very long time, more than one could foresee. Anyone who talked about at least another year of development needed to launch a full game was not wrong.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that the game is currently being sold on sale on GOG. So, those who paid it full price could only really play a kind of Early Access version, with the final one being playable for a lower price. It doesn't have to be nice to feel treated like beta testers, plus without being rewarded for doing so.
