Animal Crossing New Horizons: Old Items for Midsummer 2021, Fans Are Demanding Update 2.0
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Midsummer is approaching - and so is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. For the longest day of the year on June 21, Nintendo is offering additional items that can be purchased at Nook Shopping. This includes, among other things, a flower carpet, a surfboard, a sand castle, a flowered hammock ... as you can see, these are the same items that were already available at Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Midsummer last year. On Twitter, players rightly note: "I bought these items last year. So this time there is nothing for me."If you have already bought the items for midsummer 2020, this year's edition does not offer any What's New in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (buy now $ 53.88). The air on Twitter is tough: fans long for new content for their island paradise, looked into the tube at Nintendo Direct around E3 2021. Nintendo presented a number of new games on the show, but the Mario Group did not have any new information available for the Switch adventure. Fans had speculated in advance whether Nintendo might announce a major update 2.0 or additional expansions with new content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Although individual events are regularly celebrated in the adventure, no new events have recently been added: fans were already familiar with the most recent in-game events, as they took place in the same form last year. Recently published game updates indicate that Nintendo should work on new content. Most recently, the program data included references to an island that was enlarged in area. There were also assumptions that Eugen's museum would be expanded by one floor - and that Kofi's café would open. However, it would also be conceivable that Kofi can look forward to his own building in the current Animal Crossing for Switch.A new basement in the museum could then be used to open his own exhibitions - and additional wallpaper and Co. to buy at Eufemia. However: Whether and when the content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be submitted has not yet been determined. So fans have to be patient.
