Will Huawei P50 and P50 Pro depend on Samsung?
In recent weeks, through leaks, we have become acquainted with the most likely design of Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. This has happened thanks to the so-called mockups, or rather "molds" generally very faithful to the aesthetic level of the objects they want to represent.
The Chinese company is opting to create an aesthetic that recalls one over the other, with a characteristic that will make them stand out from the crowd. A camera equipped with 4 sensors for P50 and 5 sensors for P50 Pro, both arranged in a cylinder.
From the photos we also notice some suggestions on how these will be collected and one cannot fail to notice the large periscope lens that stands out at the top of the P50 Pro. May Huawei be able to push the already large optical zoom of its predecessors even further this year?
Even the standard Huawei P50 will have a general camera design available to that of the big brother but the sensors and their arrangement will change. From the photos there does not seem to be a periscope so let's expect a more contained optical Zoom.
On the front of both there will be a display with rounded edges for P50 Pro and flat for P50. Furthermore, Huawei would have decided to turn to Samsung for the supply. The industry that produces electronic components is experiencing a period of trouble as there have been various delays related to supply, also due to the pandemic issue. This could make Huawei depend too much on the Korean company that if it slows down with the production of displays, it will also slow down deliveries.
For the photographic issue, some rumors also argue that even at this juncture there could be a collaboration with Samsung with some sensors commissioned to the latter. While others at Sony.
In short, in a market where two giants are no longer facing each other on equal terms due to the restrictions that the Chinese company has suffered, we rely on the "rival" for the supply of panels for its flagships.
