Homura Kawamoto (Kakegurui) will publish a new manga
The new manga by the author of Kakegurui, Homura Kawamoto
Isekai Tenseisha Koroshi - Cheat Slayer will see the light in the next issue of the magazine, which will be published next June 9th. Kawamoto is writing the story, while the illustrations will be curated by Aki Yamaguchi.The magazine briefly tells the plot of the manga, presenting it as a story of revenge characterized by "hatred and desire" and focused on someone that slaughters all who reincarnate from another world.
Kakegurui: information on the series
Kawamoto and Tōru Naomura's Kakegurui manga debuted in Gangan Joker magazine by Square Enix in March 2014. The manga inspired an anime series that aired in September 2017, in Japan and premiered outside the homeland by Netflix in February 2018. The second season of the anime premiered in January 2019, and Netflix began streaming it in June 2019.The manga also inspired a 10-episode live-action series that premiered in Japan in January 2018 Netflix there distributes outside of Japan. A second season premiered in March 2019, followed by a live-action film in May 2019. The release of the live-action sequel film is scheduled for May 12, having been delayed due to the pandemic since COVID-19.
