The 1000 Miglia is ready to restart: the 39th edition will take place from 16 to 19 June with the introduction of many new features. On the occasion of the streaming presentation, the organization took the opportunity to reveal some details about the route and the cars participating in the most beautiful race in the world. So starting from Wednesday 16 June from the traditional ramp of Viale Venezia in Brescia from where the 375 admitted cars will leave to return on Saturday 19.In compliance with all anti-Covid protocols, it will be possible to witness the departure, at arrival and passage of cars always wearing protective equipment. For those who cannot participate in the very important event in person, it will be possible to follow the departure and arrival in streaming directly from the official website.
The 1000 Miglia 2021 will be characterized above all by the theme "Crossing the Future", which will enrich the spirit of the new edition and will perfectly embody the dual soul of the race, which today combines tradition and heritage but also innovation and experimentation. Not coincidentally, Crossing the Future combines the historic 1000 Miglia with the commemorative 1000 Miglia, which will therefore see the electric cars of the 1000 Miglia Green and the modern supercars and yypercars of the 1000 Miglia Experience alongside the vintage cars. The undisputed protagonists of the race will in fact also be modern supercars and hypercars and other models with electric motors. The former, competing in a special race characterized by 70 special stages and the 1000 Miglia Experience format, while the latter participate in the 1000 Miglia Green.
Everything is now ready for this new June version of the Red Arrow and we can't wait to embark on this journey to discover Italian beauty. Safety will always remain at the center of the competition, to which we have paid so much attention this year as well: there will be a strict protocol that will provide for stringent preventive measures to ensure maximum safety for all pilots and event participants. This year we have worked hard following the concept of "Crossing the future" and therefore focusing on the future of the brand and in this regard there are several new features. In these days, for example, an agreement will be signed to bring the 1000 Miglia Experience to the Arab Emirates: a further step that will strengthen the international character of the brand, commented Franco Gussalli Beretta, President of 1000 Miglia Srl with great enthusiasm.
