The scene, which is part of the Knightmare sequence, is one of the most singular of the film. It is first of all one of the additional scenes filmed recently with the return of Jared Leto as the Joker and takes inspiration from a hugely popular meme inspired by a cult scene from the sit-com Seinfeld.Snyder and Leto then "transformed" the scene, very positively received by fans already at the time of the release of the trailer, into a t-shirt whose proceeds from the sales will be donated in part to charity to American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.
