Playstation 5: Release in China - sold out immediately
Playstation 5
The Playstation 5 has been on the market for almost six months, but it is still very difficult to get at the normal price. This is due to the current crisis in the production of semiconductors - they are needed in countless products, including game consoles of course, but cannot currently be produced in sufficient numbers to meet the demand, which has risen sharply since the corona pandemic. Industry suppliers say the situation will not get much better for years. Nevertheless, Sony is now releasing the Playstation 5 in China in mid-May after Chinese authorities have allowed the sale. Within a very short time all contingents available for pre-orders were sold out. Also interesting: The PS5 has an expiration date - if the battery is empty, (almost) nothing works
