Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 official
Lenovo has finally unveiled its new gaming smartphone, the Legion Phone Duel 2. With a truly unique design, an innovative cooling system and tons of gaming features, the Lenovo smartphone aims to meet the needs of the most extreme users at a very attractive price.Design is perhaps what jumps most to the eye of Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2. The smartphone is undoubtedly designed to be used horizontally and to be incredibly comfortable during prolonged use in this position. The internal components are arranged in what the company calls Second Generation Advanced Technology Architecture (ATA 2.0) to balance weight and move the hottest areas of the device away from users' hands.
Keeping at bay the hot spirits of this powerful smartphone dedicated to gamers think of a steam chamber of increased size and the Twin Turbo-Fan system. The latter is composed of two fans that move the hot air outside the device for more effective cooling even during long gaming sessions.
On board, of course, Qualcomm's latest processor could not be missing , the Snapdragon 888 5G, an incredible amount of LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.1 memories. The Dual HaptiX haptic feedback system guarantees users a type of response very similar to that of classic console controllers. The Octa-Trigger touch controls integrated in the frame and in the body of the smartphone will unlock new practical game modes.
The display is a 6.96 ″ AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling! The panel obviously supports HDR10 + and has a resolution of 2460 × 1080 pixels. Much emphasis was also placed on the 44MP popup camera positioned on one side to allow for webcam-style use while streaming.
The double internal battery has a total capacity of 5500mAh and is capable of recharging to a maximum of 90W via the two USB Type-C ports of the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 Wants Everything in Pairs
As a follow up to last year’s Legion Phone Duel (aka Legion Phone Pro in China), Lenovo is back with another souped-up gaming phone with the Legion Phone Duel 2. As the name implies, the Legion Phone Duel 2 wants to do things in pairs–dual cooling fans, dual-battery setup, dual rear cameras, dual stereo speakers, and dual USB-C charging.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 Specs:
Sticking to the same side-mounted pop-up front camera, the Legion Phone Duel 2 upgrades the selfie snapper into a 44-megapixel ISOCELL GH1+ that can shoot 4K video at up to 60FPS. Compared to its predecessor, the Legion 2 Pro gets a significantly bigger display that is close to 7 inches. Like its predecessor, you are getting a gorgeous AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 720hz touch response rate, and a 144hz refresh rate to keep you ahead of the game.
Just like any proper gaming phone, the Legion Phone duel 2 rocks the best possible internals out there: Snapdragon 888, up to 18GB RAM, and up to 512GB internal storage. The Legion Phone Duel 2 one-ups both the ROG Phone 5 and Red Magic 6 by having a dual-fan cooling system within the phone itself–on top of a liquid cooling chamber. You also get a total of four shoulder buttons–two on the back of the phone and two as touch points on the display–for mapping your game controls.
For the cameras, the Legion Phone Duel 2 is utilizing OmniVision’s OV64A sensor, letting it shoot 8K videos at 24FPS and 4K videos at up to 120FPS. To keep the lights on, Lenovo is still sticking to a two-cell layout, but increased overall capacity at 5500mAh while retaining its 90w wired charging speeds via two USB-C ports.
The Legion Phone Duel 2 will be available in Europe in May for 799 Euros(~Php 46.2k) for the 12GB/256GB base model and 999 Euros (~Php 57.7k) for the 16GB/512GB variant that’s bundled with a charging dock. There’s no word if the 18GB RAM variant will be made available outside of China.
