Buyers of the Immortals: Fenyx Rising Season Pass definitely can't complain that bonus content is a long time coming. The open-world action adventure from Ubisoft was released in December 2020 and the third major DLC The Lost Gods will be released next week. Starting on April 22nd, you can set out in the role of the new heroine Ash in the new region of Pyrite Island. But not only the character and the setting are new, in The Lost Gods a lot changes in terms of play.

Instead of a third-person view as in the main game, the DLC relies on a bird's or rather god's perspective. So you look at your character from above. As Ash, you should of course have all kinds of (new) monsters and creatures that you have to fight. Particularly interesting: The Lost Gods also plays differently apart from the perspective. According to Ubisoft, the battle system of heroine Ash was inspired by brawler games.

Ash sets out for Pyrite Island to visit various gods who left Olympus after a dispute with Zeus. The main character of The Lost Gods should find the eponymous deities and convince them to return. Among other things, Ash gets to do with Poseidon and Hades. Ubisoft has not yet announced further information about the DLC, but in the main game you will now find a quest in the northeast of the game world that prepares you thematically for The Lost Gods. You can also take the rewards you earn there with you in the DLC.

The additional content The Lost Gods for Immortals: Fenyx Rising (buy now) will be released simultaneously on April 22nd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Lost Gods DLC arrives next week with primer quest available now

The third piece of DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising, The Lost Gods, arrives next week on April 22nd, tasking you with reuniting the missing Olympian gods. A primer quest for the DLC is available now.The last DLC, Myths of the Eastern Realm, gave us a new playable hero and a new location, but it might be The Lost Gods which brings the biggest changes yet. Ubisoft says it's played with an 'overhead, god’s-eye perspective,' and features a new 'brawler-inspired combat system.'

The Lost Gods revolves around mortal hero Ash, who travels to a new area known as the Pyrite Island to find some missing Olympian gods. Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Boreas have left Olympus after an argument with Zeus, and 'need to be convinced to return to the Pantheon and restore balance to the world.' A Lost Gods primer quest is available now, and can be found in the northeast of the Golden Isle. Any rewards you earn can apparently be carried over to the full DLC when it launches on April 22nd.
