Mortal Kombat (2021) Adapting the Mortal Kombat franchise to the cinema, and that applies to any fighting game series, is never easy. The roster is of paramount importance in a fighting game. It must be rich, varied and balanced to appeal to players, unlike a film which cannot be too scattered under penalty of diluting the plot under a shower of characters, certainly colorful, but not able to assume the role of hero. This is the raison d'être of Cole Young, an unprecedented human fighter played by Lewis Tan, an actor previously seen in the series Into the Badlands, Iron Fist and Wu Assassins. The other members of the Young family, namely Emily and Alison, borrow their features from actresses Matilda Kimber and Laura Brent (The Chronicles of Narnia The Dawn Treader Odyssey).But back to the fighters of this Mortal Kombat 2021 edition.
