Future Games Show all the news and announcements

Between news and updates on previously announced titles, the Future Games Show entertained spectators for over two hours, including the pre-show. There was no shortage of games and the pace remained constant throughout the event.

The pre-show opened with the announcement of Aiko's Choice, a standalone expansion of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun in arrival towards the end of 2021. We continue with Hidden Deep, Glitchpunk, Life of Delta and Fling to the Finish and then arrive at Inkulinati, a strategic detail based on creatures made of ink and a style. The pre-show ends with a new taste of The Lord of the Rings Gollum, expected in 2022.

Now it's time for the main show: it starts with Arctic Awakening, an adventure with survival components set in the middle of the thick snow. As a second title, however, we move on to a new video-gameplay of Returnal, the awaited exclusive PS5 signed by Housemarque and arriving on April 30th. We then move on to new trailers of Cris Tales and Axiom Verge 2, with the release of the latter set for the spring just started. By 24 Entertainment comes the action Naraka: Bladepoint, scheduled for next summer on PC. After seeing Savior in action (still very far away: we are talking about winter 2022) we move on to Quantum Error, the Horror of TeamKill Media at the moment still without a release date. And after listening to Josef Fares' words on his very recent It Takes Two (to learn more, here is our review of It Takes Two), the scene is all for Gamedec, out on September 16, 2021 on PC.

The Future Games Show continues unabated: Embr, Kathy Rain: Director's Cut and a series of titles produced by Team17 (including Worms Rumble) are shown. It is then the turn of Back 4 Blood, the new cooperative zombie game from the authors of Left 4 Dead, recently postponed to next October. After a short teaser dedicated to Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Tempestfall, we review a series of upcoming Indie games, including Green Hell and The Longest Road on Earth. There is also room for the nice Abe with a gameplay video of Oddworld Soulstorm, whose arrival is now imminent (April 6). Then it's up to Serial Cleaners and Elite Dangerous Odyssey, whose alpha will be available on PC from March 19th. After Don't Forget Me, Fire Commander, War Hospital and Lost Worlds Beyond the Page, here is the space horror shooter Haunted Space, which is even announced with a quote from one of the Dead Space slogans. It's up to Devolver Digital with its Sub Rosa, which then leaves room for the awaited Life is Strange: True Colors, which shows the new protagonist Alex Chen in action again.

We are towards the last stages of the event : Martha is Dead is the new title from Wired Productions scheduled for 2021. Humankind: The Power of Diplomacy is produced by SEGA and will attract the attention of all lovers of historical strategy, available on PC from August 17th. It's time for the penultimate title, which turns out to be Sifu, an action game focused on kung-fu first shown at PlayStation State of Play in March 2021 and expected this year. The Future Games Show ends with Kena Bridge of Spirit, an anticipated Action-Adventure coming to PS4, PS5 and PC on August 24th. A pleasant surprise that closes the dance.
