Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp are updated with the arrival of Hello Kitty and the Sanrio characters, through the new collaboration organized by Nintendo and the famous various merchandising company.

Through free updates, a timed event arrives for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and a new compatibility with six Amiibo Sanrio cards with characters from the series Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Cinnamonroll in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The game for Nintendo Switch therefore welcomes new residents and items inspired by famous Sanrio characters with the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack, available for purchase starting March 26. The pack includes all six amiibo cards in the Sanrio collaboration, compatible with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and each featuring a different theme inspired by various Sanrio characters.

After updating the title to the latest version, players will be able to use Sanrio amiibo cards on their Nintendo Switch to unlock exclusive posters to order in-game, along with furnishings and clothing inspired by the Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Little Twin Stars and Kerokerokeroppi series. Players can use these items to dress up and decorate their island by theming it with their favorite Sanrio characters. Six themed exclusive residents can be invited to the player's campsite and can move to the island. These residents can also be invited to Fiorilio Island for a photo shoot session.

In addition, new Sanrio characters also arrive in the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp mobile game. Starting March 26 at 07:59 CET through May 10 at 07:00 CEST, the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Sanrio Characters 2021 collection will bring Sanrio Characters items to player campsites.

From March 26 until the end of the event, the following additions will be found in the game:

All players who log into the game during the event period can receive a Sanrio Characters watch free by tapping the gift icon. A new Sanrio-themed fortune cookie will be available for purchase at the Fortune Cookie Shop, and each cookie will provide players with one of 10 different Sanrio items. A special gift is now available for a limited time! If you get one from a friend, you'll find a ... Sanrio Characters fan in it! There are a variety of fans to collect featuring popular characters from the Sanrio series, including Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and more.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Island Tour Creator Is Now Live

As promised last week, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island Tour Creator website is now up and running.

If you missed the news, this new tool lets you take any screenshots or videos you might have from New Horizons and use them to create your very own poster or video trailer, perfect for showing off your humble abode.

You can access the website right here (note that the site is designed only for smart devices, so you won't be able to create anything on a desktop computer). You can either transfer screenshots directly from your Switch, or take shots you've already posted directly onto Twitter. Explanations on how to do both of these are offered up to you when you choose them.

There are certain rules in play here – you can only use screenshots taken using the Switch's capture button, for example, rather than any that you've grabbed through a capture card – and all info can be found at the site's FAQ section at the bottom of the home page.
