Microsoft released a new preliminary version of the operating system over the weekend. Windows 10 build 21318, distributed to Insiders subscribed to the Dev channel (also for ARM64 devices), includes two main innovations, namely a new option for the clipboard and the Journal app that uses artificial intelligence to improve the experience writing with the stylus.Windows 10: notes without formatting
One of the most useful features of Windows 10 is the history of the notes, which is an advanced version of the famous clipboard that opens with the Win + V command and which allows you to save multiple items. In addition to the possibility of "pinning" the most used ones and exploiting synchronization between devices, Microsoft now allows you to paste text without formatting (font, size, color and more).This is essentially a similar option to "Keep text only" in Word. The novelty should be included in Windows 10 21H2. Users enrolled in the Insider program will also be able to download the new Journal app for freehand writing using a stylus from the Windows Store. Obviously you need a compatible device, such as the Surface.
Speaking of Windows 10 21H2, the Windows Latest site has released new screenshots of the interface showing the expected Sun Valley update. Microsoft has decided to round the corners of windows and menus, separating them from the taskbar. In addition to the Start menu, the “floating” design will be applied to the Jump List and context menus.
The Redmond company has finally planned the gradual abandonment of the Control Panel, moving the features to PC Settings. To make the various sections less crowded, pages with related options will be grouped, including those for power and battery.

The latest Windows 10 update for Windows Insiders adds a new copy-paste feature
Recently, Microsoft released a new Windows 10 preview build to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest build 21318 from the RS_PRERELEASE branch adds a new feature to Windows 10 Clipboard. Microsoft said that the update is also been offered to ARM64 devices.

The cloud-powered clipboard functionality was first added to Windows 10 with build 17666 released to the Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring (now known as 'Dev Channel'). This allowed users to sync the clipboard history across devices. The clipboard sync functionality later gone thru several changes. Now, with Windows 10 build 21318, Microsoft improved it further and provided you the functionality to paste formatted content as 'Plain Text'.
Windows 10, by default, allows you to paste the formatted text with the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut. So, when you copy any content from a web page or any other app to any advanced text editor, it includes the original formatting of the copied text.
Now, with the new feature, you can paste it as plain text. To use the feature, open the clipboard history page by pressing the WIN + V keyboard shortcut. Then click on the 'Paste as Text' button present alongside the Pin and Delete buttons.
The feature is currently rolling out to a subset of the Windows Insiders who are in the Dev Channel. Microsoft said that it will be gradually rolled out to everyone in the Dev Channel.
