Silent Hill: Original composer suggests continuation of the series
In an interview that has now been removed from the YouTube channel AI Hub, Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka revealed that he was expecting a new project to be announced in the summer in which he was involved. In his opinion, it is "what you are somehow hoping for". Yamaoka was most recently involved as a composer in The Medium, based on Silent Hill, which was recently released for PC and Xbox and is included in the Game Pass. Shortly after the release, the production and marketing costs were back in the horror title. Which was not only due to the release model, but probably also to the nostalgia factor. So Yamaoka's return to the Silent Hill franchise would surely be in the best interests of the fans.

Art director Masahiro Ito teased a new project last year, which he hoped would "not be canceled". This comment can be understood as an allusion to Silent Hills. In addition, Konami had an official Twitter account for the franchise verified last year.
