Pokémon GO, Kanto Tour: the exclusive creatures of the Red and Green versions

Trainers, are you preparing for the Pokémon GO: Kanto tour? The event will take place from 09:00 to 21:00 on Saturday 20 February, and will celebrate the place where it all began and all 150 original monsters.

To join the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto is you need an 11.99 euro ticket, already available for purchase in the game store, and choose to participate in the Red Version or the Green Version. The two versions will offer exclusive creatures and, just like in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, it will be essential to trade with friends participating in another version to capture all 150 original Pokémon.

To make more easy exchanges, range will be increased to 40km during the week of the event. In addition, during the Tour you will be able to attract the exclusive Pokémon of the chosen version with the Aroma. You will also have more chances to meet some Shiny Pokémon based on the version you participate in.

Red Version

Pokémon exclusive to the Red Version: you can attract Ekans, Oddish, Mankey, Growlithe, Scyther and Electabuzz with the Aroma; You will have more chances to encounter these Shiny Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Ekans, Pikachu, Nidoran ♀, Oddish, Diglett, Mankey, Growlithe, Ponyta, Shellder, Drowzee, Krabby, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Scyther, Electabuzz, Eevee, Kabuto and Dratini.

Green Version

Pokémon exclusive to the Green Version: you can attract Sandshrew, Vulpix, Meowth, Bellsprout, Magmar and Pinsir with the Aroma; You will have more chances to encounter these Shiny Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Pikachu, Sandshrew, Nidoran ♂, Vulpix, Meowth, Psyduck, Bellsprout, Geodude, Exeggcute, Hitmonchan, Koffing, Tangela, Horsea, Magmar, Pinsir, Eevee, Omanyte, and Dratini. If you can't catch them all during the event, fear not. You can try your hand at these collection challenges until 7:59 pm on Sunday 28 February 2021, taking advantage of the additional time to swap and evolve Pokémon, fight in raids and meet Pokémon after completing the research missions to finish the collection and redeem the rewards.

During the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo will return in the legendary raids, even for players without a ticket, with a series of exclusive attacks.

Attacks exclusive to Legendary Pokémon

Articuno captured during the event will be able to use Typhoon; Zapdos captured during the event will be able to use Thunder Shock; Moltres captured during the event will be able to use Air Attack; Mewtwo captured during the event will be able to use Psycobotta. The appointment, remember, is set for February 20 from 09:00 to 21:00. Today, however, you can go hunting for Valentine's Day Pokémon.
