Instagram removes this popular feature but only in some countries
One of the most used functions in Instagram is the ability to re-share a post available in the feed among your Stories, but this possibility could soon be eliminated. In fact, in these hours, according to what was reported on the net, some users selected from different countries would have found themselves with this function temporarily disabled.

So dusting off a memory or sharing posts from other profiles (such as memes), at least for interested users, is no longer possible.
The people involved who have tried to exploit this possibility offered by the platform, have find yourself with a notification banner on your smartphone with a message that reads:
“Our community has suggested that they want to see fewer feed posts in the Stories. During this test, you won't be able to add a feed post to your Story. "
As explained by the company itself, the goal is to satisfy the requests of the community and understand if such a choice can have an impact in the way the very famous social network is used and above all if this can cause a drastic reduction of interactions between users themselves.
Officially, therefore, it is only a test aimed at a small circle of people and it will still take some time to understand if Instagram will actually decide to deprive for all other users of this possibility. It will be necessary to wait for the results of these tests and then verify how the American giant will decide to continue.
