Diablo 3: Season 23 surprisingly turns features upside down and makes you more powerful
Diablo 3
While Season 22 of the action role-playing game Diablo 3 is still in full swing, preparations for the next season are already in full swing. On February 25th - in the course of today - Blizzard will release Update 2.7.0 on the test servers, which will later give the starting signal for Season 23. In addition to seasonal aspects, the patch also brings some interesting and permanent changes that affect not only the season, but also the "normal" game.Blizzard surprisingly turns the entire companion system in Diablo 3 upside down. So far, these warriors were often only decorative accessories, especially in the end game, but from season 23 they will gain massively in importance. In the future, you will not only be able to equip the companions with a total of 14 items of equipment, but also equip legendary and set items. Their bonuses partially affect your hero, so that he can, for example, benefit from the bonuses of two helmets at the same time. This will bring new momentum to the world of Diablo 3 (buy now) and above all the damage dealt will increase massively. Farm builds will also continue to increase in speed.
The following legendary items, if worn by your companion, also grant your hero bonuses.
Broken Crown Targeting Plates Plate Shoulders of Zakara Gold Skin Custeric Wrist Guards Nemesis Bracers Gladiator's Mail Gloves Gloves of Homage Dovu Energy Trap Band of Greed Credes Flame The Scent of Time Wise Men’s Journey (4 parts, 3 parts for bonus) Cain’s Fate (4 Parts, 3 parts for bonus) Worth reading: Numerous tips about Diablo 3 at PC Games
Blizzard is also revising the skills of each companion. Among other things, the enchantress masters "Temporal Pulse". This is a bullet that not only deals damage, but also slows down enemies at the same time. The villain, on the other hand, can now use "Night's Veil" - a cloud within the radius of which all enemies suffer critical damage. In addition, there are some balancing changes, new filters in the solo ranking list and a lot more. You can find the full patch notes on the US website for Diablo 3.
What do you think of the changes to the companions? A thing long overdue or an unnecessary correction? Let us know in the comments!

This weekend, we have two games that couldn't be more different from each other. Piggybacking off of all the excitement surrounding the announcement of Diablo II Resurrected, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition has been made free to play. The action-RPG sees you once again battling against the hordes of Diablo. The game has been well-received here on TA and currently sits with a 4.54/5 community rating, so this one is probably worth checking out over the weekend. Completion estimates suggest it'll take between 80 and 100 hours to unlock all the base game achievements in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
If you're not in the mood for battling waves of demonic monsters, you could always check out Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. Although we can't say for sure (we don't have enough completion estimate data available), there might be an easy completion here. On paper, its list doesn't look too taxing, other than the Night of a Thousand Stars achievement and some of the achievements requiring a fair amount of grinding.
