In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, the start of Season 2 is imminent: The activation will take place on February 25th. As part of the new season, Treyarch publishes an extensive update that provides new content for the first-person shooter. A roadmap is now available that reveals details of the upcoming changes and innovations. Among other things, players can look forward to four new multiplayer maps. Right at the start, Apocalypse is a new small to medium-sized map designed for 6v6 battles. Golova, Mansion and Miami Strike will follow in the course of the season.

In the course of season 6, six new weapons for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will also appear. The Argentine FARA 83 assault rifle and the SMG LC10 are available directly for the Season 2 update. This is followed by the machete, the e-tool, the R1 Shadowhunter and the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle. Machete, E-Tool, R1 Shadowhunter and ZRG 20mm can either be activated during the season via the associated challenges or purchased via bundles in the in-game shop. In the roadmap for the new season, the developers are also introducing new game modes: In the launch week, Gun Game goes online in the free-for-all version, followed by Stockpile and Hardpoint (multi-team).
