Resident Evil Village: Maiden demo hides a mystery

Resident Evil Village: Maiden demo hides a mystery
Yesterday evening the Resident Evil Village Showcase took place in which we were able to deepen the plot and gameplay of the new chapter to be released on May 7 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. In addition, during the event, a demo was announced that can be downloaded for all those who own Sony's next-gen console; a bit like what happened with the previous game released in 2017. So, let's see in detail what this evidence hides.

We will start as a character created especially for the demo, who wakes up in one of the dungeons of the huge villa with one goal: to escape. We will then be able to start enjoying the whole atmosphere proposed by the development team, with a disturbing and impressive setting. During this test we will be able to obtain objects and files that will help us better understand the fascinating nightmare in which we find ourselves. We will not go into more detail so as not to ruin the experience but here, as already seen in the demo of the seventh chapter, there is a mysterious and unusable object. It is therefore possible to find a necklace which, if examined, only declares that "it can ward off evil".

This fact takes us back to 2016 when we studied the mysterious "finger of the mannequin" that could be found in the demo of Resident Evil 7. Only after months, and continuous updates of the aforementioned demo, it was discovered that this finger could be combined with a porcelain hand. Once we assembled and read a small piece of blood, this helped us to discover details about five murders that took place inside the small house owned by the Baker family. It therefore remains absolutely plausible that the process will be the same, that is to say that as the months pass, Capcom will update the demo by proposing different objects that can be combined and subsequently discover other mysteries concerning the Resident Evil Village plot. Time to time then, enjoy for now the proof proposed by the Japanese society and continue to speculate on this mysterious tribal necklace.
