Mass Effect 5: The next part probably links the Andromeda and Shepard trilogy
The first trailer for Mass Effect 5, or what the game will ultimately be officially called, shows interesting scenes that contain some clues. Including that we are apparently getting a sequel to Mass Effect 3 and Andromeda.

So it seems like the next installment in the Mass Effect series will combine the trilogy around Commander Shepard and Mass Effect: Andromeda. We don't know how yet. It could just be some clues to Ryder's mission, or it could have something to do with the Remnants, the civilization that plays a role in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Because on leaked artwork for Mass Effect 5 we see machines that are similar to those of the Remnants. It is quite conceivable that a connection could be established between the games in this way.
According to Bioware, it will be quite a while before we learn more about Mass Effect 5. The game is currently in a very early stage of development. But some veterans of the trilogy are working on this. Including Dusty Everman, Parrish Ley, Brenon Holmes and Derek Watts, who have already played a key role in shaping the games around Commander Shepard with their work.
