Esports: Vieri and Corradi together with Manpower for the development of young talents
In a moment of great expansion of eSports, the former Azzurri Christian Vieri and Bernardo Corradi through the launch of PLB present a unique and innovative project that aims to accompany young video game enthusiasts towards a professional career thanks to educational content and of entertainment.
Not a team of pro-players, but a community open to everyone to help the most talented prospects grow through training, method and psychophysical well-being.
In three words: Power, Leadership & Balance (of which PLB is an acronym). At an international level, there are more and more studies that highlight how gaming can favor the development of fundamental soft skills also in professional life and career paths.
In 2019 there were 17 million people in Italy who have played video games. ManpowerGroup with a history spanning over 70 years, has always created integrated solutions for the match between supply and demand of work and today it specifically targets gamers, one of the most active and growing communities during the Covid-19 pandemic, at aim to promote the professional paths of young talents who can boast a unique combination of digital skills and soft skills, increasingly requested and sought after by companies.
Thus was born the Gaming Skills Translator, an assessment that allows people to identify their skills and receive suggestions on how to continue to develop them and "translate" them into employability.

Finally, the aim is also to help companies understand how important it is to evaluate soft skills in less conventional ways and the possibility of translating them into skills that can be spent in the company ", said Riccardo Barberis, CEO of ManpowerGroup Italia.
“PLB will give all video game fans a new meeting place where they can look for expert advice, training programs and tools to improve their level. Alongside the educational commitment, the project will also be destined for entertainment thanks to special initiatives, challenges on social networks and interactions with the world of football and sport. Christian Vieri recently presented the Twitch version of BoboTv, which will constantly dialogue with PLB to amplify the direct confrontation with the community of videogame and sports enthusiasts.
The goal of BoboTv's synergy with PLB will be to create a real "digital oratory" where the very young can find the "training ground" to grow as e-athletes, streamers and casters and where fans can compete.
Inside PLB the "Varsity" will give everyone, at any level, the opportunity to interact with professionals in the sector, while the "Youth Team U18" will tell the story of five players, selected from the boys and girls who will be chosen in the coming weeks, and their path of growth within the eSports world, without the pressures of competitive results, but with the support of many professionals and dedicated programs.
Cristian Vieri and Bernardo Corradi mett their experiences were available to enthusiasts, and will serve as an example for the youngest. Thanks to their brilliant careers in football, they will in turn help the talents of Italian eSports to undertake equally brilliant careers.
