The Promised Neverland - the live action film
We also remember that on December 18th the first live action inspired by the series, simply entitled The Promised Neverland, will debut in Japanese cinemas.The film is directed by Yûichirô Hirakawa and scripted by Noriko Gotou and will tell the story of the first story arc of the manga set in Grace Field House. The cast consists of Minami Hamabe (Menma in Anohana's live-action) who plays Emma, Jyo Kairi (Erased) plays Ray, Rihito Itagaki (Show By Rock !! the Musical) and Norman. Keiko Kitagawa is Isabella while Naomi Watanabe plays Krone.
The Promised Neverland - manga and anime
We remind you that The Promised Neverland ended in Japan on June 15th with the chapter , 181. The same author Kaiu Shirai had spoken about the ending recently, click HERE to read his statements.In Italy the series is published by J-Pop who published the first 17 volumes and the first light novel. The series should consist of 20 total volumes, in Japan the publication of the 20th is expected in the autumn.
Here is the synopsis from the first volume:
They love you like a mother, but he is not their parent. They all live together, but they are not brothers. Emma, Norman and Ray spend happy days in a small orphanage. But one day their life is suddenly turned upside down. What fate awaits them now that they know the truth ?!

An animated series produced by CloverWorks and available for free with Italian subtitles on the VVVVID streaming platform was also taken from the manga. A second anime series will arrive in January 2021.
Two light novels have also been published, the first starring Norman and written by Nanao. The second features mother Isabella and sister Krone. A third light novel has also been announced but without details.
Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu will return to The Promised Neverland for a special chapter that will be released in conjunction with the exhibition dedicated to the work that will be inaugurated next December in Tokyo . The designer also said she is working on new stories but has not provided details.
Amazon Prime Video is developing the live action TV series instead.
