Spider-Man Remastered: The comparison between PS4 and PS5 shows the great work done
A few days after the launch of PlayStation 5, the first shots and gameplay videos of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, remastered version of the 2018 game released on PS5 on November 19 exclusively as part of Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate, have appeared on the net. Edition.
Apparently Insomniac Games has kept their word, since the work done seems to be of a high standard. A comparison in particular is making a lot of talk about itself: the images, taken from the early stages of the adventure, portray Peter's desk on both PlayStation 5 and PS4, and the improvements on the next-gen console are evident. The textures, the level of detail and the lighting are on another level: on PlayStation 5 there are also visible noodles in the box, not present on PS4 - someone, as a joke, even spoke of noodle-gate, in memory of the controversial puddle-gate. The comparison, visible at the bottom of this news, bounced from ResetEra to the official Twitter profile of James Stevenson of Insomniac Games: "This comparison on ResetEra shows the amount of work and details that have gone into Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. (Aka : lots) ", wrote the Community Director.
Other comparatives have also flocked to the net, as well as a 4K gameplay video showing both graphics modes developed by the Californian developers in action: Performance (from minute 2:15) and Fidelity (from minute 5:12). The former sacrifices some of the graphics quality to push to 60fps, while the latter locks the framerate to 30fps to show off ray-tracing, improved lighting and additional visual effects.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, we reiterate once again, will not be sold individually, but only as part of Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition starting November 19th. There is no free upgrade from PS4, but Insomniac is working on making the saves transferable. The Remastered also includes a new face for Peter Parker, five additional trophies and three unreleased costumes (the latter will also arrive on PS4).
