Skoda, electrification continues on its way
The goal of the car manufacturers is, inevitably, the race to electrification. The electrified mobility plan of the Czech car manufacturer continues with the iV product range. “Recharge Life”: it is with this banner that SKODA AUTO has launched a worldwide marketing campaign relating to the entry of the same car manufacturer into the new era of electric mobility.
For next spring, the big Skoda brand expects to bring the first new generation electric model to the market. We are talking about the Skoda Enyaq iV SUV. This is the company's first electric SUV, a new model based on the Volkswagen Group's electric modular platform and with a range of up to 510 km.
The Czech car manufacturer's race to electrification began last year year with the debut of the electric Citigo iV city car and the great plug-in hybrid flagship Superb iV. Skoda Auto has also brought the plug-in hybrid version of the Octavia to the market.
The MySkoda PowerPass service will also be activated with the launch of the Enyaq iV electric SUV. Thanks to this option, any owner of the new electric vehicle will be able to recharge it simply and practically anywhere thanks to the extensive network of charging stations of the various operators. It is therefore a simple free RFID card that can also be used at European level and is valid for three years. The MySkoda Powerpass service also includes a dedicated app that is also useful for finding the nearest charging station, also offering a list of updated prices, of course, in real time. It is no coincidence, therefore, that the service offered by Skoda will simplify both payments but also the various registrations necessary to access energy providers.
“Recharge Life” will therefore act as a platform for communications related to Skoda Enyaq iV and at the same time play a supporting role in Skoda Auto's general marketing communications. The same will in fact be promoted, starting from 8 November, also through other communication channels such as TV and online.
