PS5: the annoying coil whine perhaps caused by an adhesive label in the fan
Apparently the irritating coil whine of some PS5 models, that is a strong hum that is stressing the first buyers of the console a lot, could be caused by an internal adhesive label that detaching would end up in contact with the fan.
The discovery was made by Frank Keienburg, Brawl Stars game lead for Supercell, stressed by the too much noise produced by his PS5, audible in his entire apartment (to the delight of his loved ones). Keienburg initially wanted to send the PS5 for service, but the shop he bought it from told him he would have to wait over three weeks to get it back.
window.twttr = (function (d, s, id) {var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName (s) [0], t = window.twttr || {}; if (d.getElementById (id)) return t; js = d.createElement (s); js.id = id; js.src = "https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore (js, fjs); t._e = []; t.ready = function (f) {t._e.push (f);}; return t;} (document, "script", "twitter-wjs")); twttr.ready (function (twttr) {twttr.widgets.createTweet ('1329771869533302790', document.getElementById ('tw_1329771869533302790'));});
Our, instead of losing heart, then opened the console, discovering the criminal sticker, properly removed. After reassembling the console, the developer found that the annoying noise was now only a distant memory.

Is everything good that ends well? Not exactly. Meanwhile, the PS5 coil whine problem may not be the same for everyone, also opening the console invalidates the warranty, so it should not be done lightly. The advice is always to go to the technical assistance, which will take care of making the appropriate checks. Of course, these days the wait to get the console back can take a very long time, given the very high demand for PS5. You need to be patient.
