HPE and Wipro together for Hybrid Cloud solutions in SaaS mode

In recent days, HPE announced a partnership with Wipro Limited, which operates in the field of information technology, consulting and services for business processes, to jointly provide its portfolio of infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions in as-a mode -service. Wipro will leverage HPE GreenLake across its portfolio of managed services to offer a subscription-based pay-per-use model that is agile, flexible and capable of delivering a consistent “cloud experience”.

The announcement of the partnership is the extension of a decade-long collaboration between HPE and Wipro that has already delivered workplace transformation and data center modernization solutions to customers in multiple markets around the world. Covid-19 has forced companies of all sizes to re-evaluate and accelerate their digital transformation plans, especially in terms of creating hybrid work environments suitable for remote work. Wipro virtuadeskTM, Wipro's Desktop as-a-service offering, delivered with HPE GreenLake, promises to give customers business continuity while modernizing their workplace ecosystem.

It's a VDI solution, based on artificial intelligence, analysis and automation. This will also bring speed and agility in accessing applications, along with centralized IT management for customized disaster recovery plans.
