These are the only Asus smartphones that will receive Android 11
Asus promises only two main updates of the Android version for its smartphones, all models that have been placed on the market with Android 9 Pie or Android on board 10 will be technically updated to the latest version of the green robot's operating system. In recent days, a list of smartphones that the company intends to update to Android 11 and version 7 of its ZenUI has been circulating online.
Among the models that will almost certainly receive all the news of the eleventh version Of Android we obviously find the latest smartphones presented, such as the very powerful ROG Phone 3 and the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro pair for which the company would already be looking for beta testers. Last year's top-of-the-range models join the party, namely ZenFone 6 (6z) and ROG Phone 2. The beta of Android 11 for ZenFone 6 (6z) has, among other things, already been released by the company in recent weeks, so it shouldn't be long before the update is finalized.
Unfortunately they would seem excluded from the ZenFone 5 list and ZenFone 5Z, which would have already received two major releases of Android and therefore would be left out. The company has announced that it is in the evaluation phase for the development of a possible update for these two devices, however if I were you I wouldn't hope too much.
