PS5: Will PS Plus and PS Now Work? Sony responds

According to Sony: "More than 99% of PS4 titles will be playable on PS5 from day one". Obviously, this applies to both the digital edition and the version equipped with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive. Therefore, you will be able to play digital versions of PS5-compatible PS4 games purchased on both consoles, using PS4 game discs only with the console that supports them. Games for PlayStation VR are also included, reminding users that, however, it will be necessary to use the appropriate kit, specifying that the PS5 HD camera will not be compatible with PS VR.
Sony has also intervened on the subject PS Now and PS Plus, stating that: "All backward compatible PS4 games included with PS Plus or PS Now will be playable on PS5". In addition, the latter will also support streaming playback of PS4 games, which on the one hand will offer the advantage of saving storage space on the next-gen console, but on the other hand it will not be possible to take advantage of the PS5 game enhancement. The gaming experience for PS4 titles will indeed be improved on PS5, thanks to the faster loading speed, with better or more stable frame rates.
To transfer PS4 games and game data to PS5, simply use an Internet connection or an external USB storage device connected to the PS4. If you are a member of PS Plus, however, you can synchronize game data via cloud storage. It will also be necessary to check the presence of the wording "only on PS4" on the PlayStation Store or on PS Now to understand which titles are playable.
The next-gen is upon us. You can pre-order a second DualSense for PS5 by clicking here and a game to start with, such as the famous Demon's Souls or Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
