PS5 turned off during livestreams? Devkits have been used, some users say
PS5 was the protagonist of the first Japanese livestreams this morning, which finally showed the Sony console in action with some games, even without revealing the interface.
From the tests very positive user impressions emerged, yes spoke for example of a great silence. However, according to some users, there would be the trick: the PlayStation 5s were actually turned off and the streamers used devkits for their tests.
Suggesting this hypothesis is the fact that in the videos the LED of the console it is not illuminated, as it should be when PS5 is used: a blue light at start-up and during boot, a white light to signal normal operation.
In reality we also spoke of disconnected cables, but this argument was dismantled very quickly: in several livestreams the wires behind the console are clearly visible and end up in a hole in the piece of furniture on which it rests, but depending on the shot it is not possible to see them.
A On balance, we believe that the posts that run on social media in these hours and that speak of PS5 turned off are nothing more than the now traditional and inevitable "media response" that promptly manifests itself by one of the two fans as soon as it comes out There are some positive news on the Sony or Microsoft platforms.
Fortunately, just over a month is missing from the launch of the next-gen consoles and by then at least these sad manifestations of preliminary console war will be out of the way . Si spera.
Did they really play on # PS5 or they just put the ps5 on the table for photos without turn it on?
(Also we saw no UI , no boot, nothing)
Seems ps5 is not turn on, and the games were running on a hidden devkit 🤦🏻♂️ pic.twitter.com/iMXtMYA5Qe
