Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 at 60 fps, confirms Sucker Punch
According to Sony: "More than 99% of PS4 titles will be playable on PS5 from day one". As is now known, PS5 will offer users the backward compatibility function for PS4 games and in this regard Sony is taking steps to answer some questions and concerns that have emerged from the PlayStation community, revealing more details on the subject. And it is precisely here that Sucker Punch intervenes, who on his official Twitter profile, confirms that his Ghost of Tsushima will be playable on PS5 from Day One thanks to the backwards compatibility function, thus being able to transfer the save data from PS4 to the next generation console by Sony, picking up where we left off.
Also, considering Sony's claims regarding improvements in the gaming experience and enhancement of compatible PS4 games on PS5, thanks to significantly higher loading speeds, with better and more stable frame rates, the developers confirm this optimization also for their latest exclusive PlayStation 4 tested on the next console of the Japanese giant.
PS5 owners playing with Game Boost will see an extra option to allow frame rates up to 60FPS, and while loading speeds on the PS4 are already great, just wait until you see them on the PS5!

As you can read on the official Sucker Punch profile: “PS5 owners who use Game Boost will find an extra option to activate the frame rate up to 60 fps, and although the upload speed on PS4 was already amazing, wait until you see those on PlayStation 5 ″.
If at first all this might have seemed like tantalizing news, considering the enhancements made by the "Game Boost" option - which allows some PS4 games to benefit from advanced features while running on PS5 - most of the users who commented on the post on Twitter do not seem to have liked that “up to 60 fps“, expecting instead 60 fps as standard output. In conclusion, we remind readers that starting from October 16, 2020 the new free update 1.1 of Ghost of Tsushima will be available, which among the significant improvements will introduce a new New Game Plus mode and an interesting multiplayer mode.
