With the release of the “autumn-winter” catalog, interesting news has arrived in the LEGO Technic theme. First of all, the new VOLVO branded articulated “ground transport” with 6 × 6 wheel drive, perfect to be combined with the previous LEGO Technic # 42030 remote controlled VOLVO L350F truck (still available for purchase on Amazon.it). Having both sets, you can also compare the two different generations of motorization systems: the "old" LEGO Technic Power Functions (motors + remote control and infrared receiver) for the # 42030 Loader and the "new" LEGO Technic Powered Up / Control + (motors and intelligent "hub" with commands from smartphone / tablet connected via Bluetooth).Let's see together these "autumn" LEGO Technic sets that will keep us company in the cold and rainy days ahead.

The collaboration between the LEGO Group and VOLVO continues and the "theme" of construction / quarry vehicles expands. NEW 42115 - Lamborghini Sìan
It was only right to update this article with a "pearl" just out of the factory. Lego, together with Lamborghini brings us a scale model (acid green) of the famous and wonderful Lamborghini Sìan FKP 37 with the iconic scissor doors. Building this model is a real challenge: 14 hours of work, incredible attention to detail, and as reported on the LEGO website under the hood: “The rear engine of the model recreates the epic V12 with movable pistons, all-wheel drive and 8-speed transmission, activated by a mobile gear lever […] Here you will also find the unique serial number that will allow you to access exclusive content in the owner's area ".In short, a epic model that over time will have more and more value, not so much for "children" but for real "enthusiasts",

42089 - Speedboat
We recommend this LEGO Technic model for its great playability / parts / price ratio. Unfortunately, the motorboat does not float but despite the "only" 174 pieces it has an attractive design and is a fairly complex construction for a child. The advantage of the model is that it can be rebuilt into a racing seaplane with a futuristic and slender cockpit (it is a 2-in-1 LEGO Technic). To be honest, the secondary model in our opinion has an even better design than the main one and a very high "woosh factor". The model is made for chases! Whatever the case, for € 14.99 you have an excellent (double) gift in your hands.Evaluation

42093 - CHEVROLET CORVETTE ZR1
The Corvette ZR1, in its fire orange and night black livery, with yellow exhausts along the bonnet is a model with an elegant and realistic design. Technic cars are often recreated in collaboration with car makers' engineers and this model is truly the spearhead of medium-priced LEGO boxes. Developed in collaboration with Corvette the 42093 has working steering and a V8 engine with moving pistons. As if that were not enough the model is part of the 2 in 1 series and can be rebuilt into a replica of Hot Road. A truly satisfying building experience in pure LEGO "supercar" style completes the buying guide: a racing car enthusiast should not miss this model. The only criticism is the design of the Hot Road which in orange turns out to be a little less interesting than the main model.Evaluation

42079 - HEAVY DUTY FORKLIFT
Update: it will soon go out of print!A great strength loved by LEGO fans are the "heavy vehicles" of the series Technic. These are really realistic models, fun to build and to maneuver once assembled. The Heavy Duty Forklift, in bright yellow, is a model that cannot be missing in your collection for several reasons: first of all it has an exceptional design and after about two hours to assemble it you will have a perfect working replica including the flashing light in your hands. Orange! Secondly, the play experience with the LEGO pallet and the additional cylinder to carry make it a perfect product to entertain a child (or the child in you). You will also love the alternative mobile crane to the main model, with its huge wheels and hook for transporting other Technic vehicles. The low cost and the construction difficulty will give you great satisfaction.

42077 - RALLY CARS
The rally cars of the Technic series are always a very fun and demanding building experience: compact and detailed, they amaze with the designers' ability to create a product that after five hours of "work" it is a faithful scale model. In this car both hoods can be opened to enjoy the V6 engine with working pistons and the cooling system of the two-valve engine. The car obviously has working steering and suspension and can be converted into an attractive Buggy. Children will have to be helped in the construction and even novice adults will have to work hard: there are 1005 pieces.Evaluation

The box of the 42098 set is as impressive as its contents. Not only will you build a replica of a fully functional car transporter (the rear ramp lowers to load the vehicles) but the set also includes a blue car with a perfectly scaled V8 engine with the Corvette ZR1 (set 42093). Purchasing both sets will therefore allow you to load the Corvette into the transporter. It is useful to know that the car transporter can carry four vehicles fully loaded. Seeing it on display with the machines on board is truly an exciting glance! The model is obviously 2 in 1 so you can also build a truck, an exhibition car and an assistance van. And we end up with a not only expensive but also huge set that we had already told you about in the “10 best LEGO sets in the catalog“. The Big Mobile Crane has 4-wheel steering and a V8 engine that moves pistons and fan. Until now, LEGO had never built such a tall crane! The model in fact measures 100 cm in height, 66 cm in length and 18 cm in width in the working position. In addition, thanks to the ingenuity of the 2 in 1 system, it is possible to download the instructions for building the Mobile Pile Driver online.
