Design in comparison

Xbox Series S is much closer to the current generation, in particular it seems the natural evolution of Xbox One S. The latter is in fact a regular white parallelepiped with ventilation grilles on the short sides and a huge grille that occupies half of the front chassis. Furthermore, One S all digital does not have a slot for the discs and from the front it really reminds a lot of Series S, if it were not for the small black base of One S which in Series S is absent to return a much smoother and more regular shape.
At the same time there is also a huge difference in design between the two generations of consoles: there is a gigantic black circular ventilation surface in Series S. The choice of double coloration is perhaps intended to recall the upper grille of Series X, the older sister, while its presence serves to adequately manage the dissipation needs of a console which, given its very small size, will be substantial.
