Vesper | Preview, puzzle platform with interesting atmospheres
Vesper is the first title in the works at the Italian studio Cordens Interactive: a puzzle game capable of immediately attracting attention and that we could not fail to try in this all-digital edition of Gamescom 2020. Of course, the warmth of the developers is missing , try the game and chat, feel the pride and even the fears of those who invested everything to develop their idea while we explore the available demos, but the Indie Arena Booth is still an important showcase and this year despite all the difficulties, there are really many interesting projects.
To be honest I already knew Vesper, even if he didn't have that name yet. Two years ago, on the occasion of the New Game Designer promoted by the State of Milan and the Polytechnic, I came into contact with a prototype called Dusk. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere, one of those that with a few strokes and a careful use of colors are able to convey strong emotions. When I started Vesper I found exactly those sensations. A night that seems serene and placid, similar to those starry ones that let themselves be contemplated while we turn our gaze to the sky in search of answers. We are an android we don't know anything about yet, in a place that is beyond our understanding.
