Trump justified the 17-year-old who killed two Black Lives Matter protesters
He said this at a press conference, although there are videos and testimonies that prove otherwise. The president also confirmed his visit to Kenosha, the site of the incident, fueling further clashes and tensions
(Photo: Win McNamee / Getty Images) Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old American accused of killing two people in Kenosha (in Wisconsin), allegedly acted in self-defense. It was not just anyone who said it, but the President of the United States Donald Trump, who in a press conference explained what he thought would happen during the third day of demonstrations in the Midwestern city, those following the wounding of Jacob Blake: "We are carefully evaluating his actions, but you have seen the video. He was trying to escape from the demonstrators, he fell and was attacked very violently. They probably would have killed him. "The dynamics of the incident are by no means clear and the actions of Rittenhouse, who is now in Lake County jail in Illinois, are still under investigation. From the videos released online and from the testimonies of the people present at the scene, a different version of the facts emerges from the one told by the White House: the 26-year-old and the 36-year-old killed by the bullets from the boy's Ar-15 rifle were completely unarmed. They were shot with a plastic bag and a skateboard in hand respectively. The only one who owns a gun is the third person involved in the shooting, who, however, was shot - and only wounded - when the other two were already on the ground.
