The rockets are starting again: Vega has just brought 53 satellites into orbit
The European launcher Vega has released 53 satellites from 13 different countries into orbit, with the help of the SMS dispenser. Thus the space race for economic access of small satellites is resumed

Its mission? Bring 53 satellites into orbit, with the help of the revolutionary Small Spacecraft Mission Service (Ssms) dispenser. A launch that marks a new record for a carrier of the old container and that will encourage the space economy. "The European launch base is back to work and we are proud that Vega is back in the air to demonstrate a new dedicated launch service," commented Daniel Neuenschwander, of ESA. "Europe's first Small Spacecraft Mission Service opens the door to cost-effective access to space for small satellites, a new approach that shows we are addressing new market needs."Liftoff! #GoVega #Vega # VV16 #Avio pic.twitter.com/KDvNjK80DQ
