TGS 2020: Resident Evil Village - PS4 / Xbox One Versions Well Under Consideration

Announced on PC and next-generation consoles, Resident Evill Village intends to develop the universe set up in Resident Evil VII. Richer, more frightening, there are the promises of Capcom concerning the title.

Since its announcement, the players wonder if Resident Evil Village will be a title only next-gen or not. Rumors have been circulating ever since, and Tsuyoshi Kanda, producer, wanted to clarify all this during the Tokyo Game Show 2020. Yes, PS4 and Xbox One versions are being considered, but nothing has been decided yet. The main obstacle remains the desire to offer an experience that is just as engaging on current consoles as on Xbox Series X, PC, or PlayStation 5.

Although Resident Evil Village is developed specifically for next-generation consoles and PCs , we're also looking to bring the experience to Xbox One and PS4. However, we cannot make any promises.
