Safari 14 in download for macOS Catalina and Mojave
The rollout of Safari 14 for Mac kicked off in conjunction with those of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14 and watchOS 7, ahead of the debut of the macOS 11 Big Sur operating system. The new version is available for download for the Catalina and Mojave versions of the platform.
Other new features of Safari 14 such as support for streaming video at 4K resolution and in HDR or the integrated translator will instead require the Big Sur operating system which will make its official debut only in the autumn.
Perhaps not everyone will remember it, but in the past the Cupertino browser has also been made available in a version for Windows computers, more precisely from 2007 to 2012. The first release for PC was announced by Steve Jobs himself on the stage of the WWDC 2007 event, the last was 5.1.7, now obsolete.
