RTX 3090: Here are the games that will go at 8K, 60 FPS and beyond

The new generation of consoles is ever closer and promises a high-level technical and graphic leap. Obviously, however, the PC world does not stand still and in fact NVIDIA has presented its new RTX 3090 to the world. The GPU promises to do really great things in the gaming field: precisely, it promises 8K and 60 FPS in many games.

NVIDIA itself has therefore taken care of drawing up a graph with a whole series of games and related performances. As reported, the tests were performed with the following specifications:

i9-9900K @ 3.6Hz 32 GB DDR4 RAM Windows 10 GefForce RTX 3090 Setting all settings to maximum, at 8K resolution with active ray tracing ( when available), the RTX 3090 is capable of reaching or exceeding 60 FPS with Apex Legends, Desiny 2, Forza Horizon 4, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, World of Tanks, World of Warcraft.

A these we must add a number of games that benefit from the DLSS. For example, Death Stranding goes from 32 FPS to 78, while Wolfenstein Youngblood starts at 26 and reaches 74 frames per second.

The only name below the 60 FPS threshold is Control, which with DLSS still reaches the 57 frames per second. However, a more than satisfactory result, considering that it would probably be enough to lower the quality of some graphic element to recover the missing frames. The most surprising part, however, is that Control, without DLSS, stops at 8 frames per second.

In any case, this data is related to games already on the market and which were not made with hardware in mind as powerful as the RTX 3090 - in other words, we can expect even better results in the future.
