Root Film lands in the West in the first quarter of 2021
Launched on July 30 in Japan, Root Film, which succeeds Root Letter, has finally found a release window for Europe.
Root Film will tell us about the adventures of Rintarō Yagumo, a young director responsible for producing a film to promote Shimane prefecture. The hero will soon find himself at the center of a murder plot. The title is written by Hifumi Kôno, director of Clock Tower, Steel Battalion and NightCry. Between intuition and confrontation, it will notably offer Max Mode, a mechanic inviting you to launch a verbal confrontation using a repertoire of words.
Root Film will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on the first quarter 2021. A limited edition will also be available, and will offer a 100-page artbook with the game. It is currently available for pre-order on the Funstock website.
