Personal Vault, the safe area for OneDrive files
The cloud is a solution increasingly appreciated by users, even by the most skeptical, thanks to its ease of use, to the fact that it has free plans that are best integrated with the most used devices, whether they are computers or smartphones. Having your files wherever you go without having to save them to some physical storage device is undeniably very convenient and immediate. One of the most used and in vogue cloud services is certainly Microsoft OneDrive, which also owes its success to its integration with the Microsoft ecosystem and therefore also to the Office package. In this article, however, we will focus on a particular element of OneDrive, the Personal Vault, which is a kind of data safe within the cloud space. Not that the basic security of OneDrive doesn't allow you to keep your data safe, but there is likely to be some very sensitive data that a lot of users don't want to leave online, and the Personal Vault is a very powerful element designed for these users. It may happen, for example, to have a OneDrive profile shared, or otherwise accessible to others, even in this case the Personal Vault makes a lot of sense.
