and internet connection, above 30 megabits per second. One of the main reasons why this bonus was studied is to favor the digitalization of Italy, which found itself unprepared for the lockdown resulting from the health situation, which highlighted obsolete and undeveloped internet lines, and too low a spread of electronic devices. which has undermined the practices of
smart working or remote lessons, since there were not enough PCs or Tablets and the internet lines were very clogged.
With this bonus, which amounts to a maximum of 500 euros, Italians will be able to renew their hardware devices, whether they are PCs or tablets, but also activate an internet network capable of working in smart working or teaching at a distance. The voucher is in fact designed to reduce the "digital divide" that is the
difference between connections and digitalization between large urban centers and small ones, where the difference is tangible.
Bonus Pc and Internet 2020: what is it and what is it for
The PC and Internet Bonus 2020 is an initiative of the Ministry for Innovation and Digitization and consists of a voucher to be used for the purchase of new electronic equipment, whether it is a computer or tablet, and also for the payment of a broadband internet line, all for a maximum of 500 euros.
