Paola Pisano: the cloud is the basis for the PA of tomorrow
To understand the words released today to Sole24Ore by Minister Paola Pisano, owner of the department for Technological Innovation and Digitization, it is necessary first of all to start from what was written last February on the blog for Digital Transformation:
The strategy for digital infrastructures in Italy is part of the strategic and investment path undertaken by the European Union under the guidance of the new Commission, which just recently published an action plan on data management and intelligence artificial. According to the document, the digital transformation of the EU economy depends on the development of infrastructures capable of managing data, which are secure, energy efficient, economical and which operate according to the best quality standards. This is because Europe must reduce its technological dependence on non-EU countries precisely in strategic infrastructures, the assets on which the data economy is based. An addiction that today represents potentially a critical factor for the autonomy and security of the Union and determines a lower strength on the international scene.
Compared to then, very little has changed, both in reality (blocked at long from lockdowns and other emergencies) both in intentions and proclamations, which today however find new life thanks to the funds made available today by the EU.
