Nintendo Switch: how will it fare with the next-gen?
This was, and still is, a very complicated year. The pandemic caused by the coronavirus has upset the balance of our existence and of the global economy. Nevertheless, the videogame world will not deprive itself of the coveted new generation consoles, deciding in any case to advance towards the intended purpose. Video game fans will thus witness the launch of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, flanked by Nintendo Switch which continues to travel independently and record surprising numbers. At the same time, Nvidia has launched its next generation graphics cards, without forgetting Facebook which comes into play with its new Oculus Quest 2 headset.

With the imminent arrival of the next-gen, it is legitimate to ask which it will be the result of the usual Christmas shopping in such a particular year. First of all, in the case of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, it must be considered that both consoles will not be readily available at launch. Secondly, while Microsoft is doing its best with its upcoming consoles, Sony is a tough opponent to overcome. Xbox, in fact, has failed to establish itself as much as Sony's PlayStation in Japan and in recent years it has also proved weaker in much of Europe, despite the very positive data recorded in the last 20 years. For its part, however, the services offered by Microsoft are decidedly tantalizing, so the curiosity towards the performance of these new Series X / S is remarkable.
