Marvel's Avengers: the first evaluations are not very exciting
Marvel's Avengers, the action-adventure video game from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix that has wowed audiences and critics alike since its announcement, is finally available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. After years of waiting, now the public can have their say on the title and, in this regard, we invite you to read the review of our Andrea Maiellano. However, it seems that the game has not managed to excite the hearts of gamers as expected and despite the potential of the title, Marvel's Avengers is collecting votes that, although positive, range from good to sufficiency.
Judging by the reviews available so far, players reward the single player campaign and gameplay. As our Andrea also explains in his review, the strength of the game is the plot, well exposed and engaging, enriched by intuitive and fun gameplay, with multiple references and quotes to the Marvel universe. What makes fans turn up their noses, however, is the repetition and fear that Marvel’s Avengers will follow the fate already seen with Destiny, The Division and Anthem. In addition, in our review, we also reported the presence of several bugs and glitches and some variables that can create smudges in the experience, which on the current generation of consoles is a bit faltering.
Currently Marvel's Avengers achieved an average rating of 72/100 on Metacritic - which sees the PS4 as the most used console by reviewers. Here are some of the ratings that have emerged so far:
Game Informer - 8.8 Worth Playing - 8.5 Shacknews - 8 Gamers Heroes - 8 GameStar - 7.5 CGMagazine - 7.5 Trusted Reviews - 7 JeuxVideo - 6.5 Screen Rant - 6 We will continue to tell you about the game, in conjunction with future evolutions. And you who joined the Avengers fight, what do you think of the game? Tell us yours.
